Catching up to do

I know I've been posting drawings I've been doing of late, but I haven't really done any journals for some time. Well I suppose I should do that more often since I think some of you actually stop by to read what has to be said. College is going alright I suppose. I'm glad I took a lighter semester, even if that means needing to finish my degree next semester. I hope that's possible anyway. I'm constantly worried about that but at this point, I feel like college is just giving me something to do.

I lack a job still even after submitting application after application at various places and some times resubmitting at other places. I'm pretty much down to the point that I'm actively applying at fast food just to get my foot in the door so I can work to get a better one. I might have at least a summer position with my mom's Taco Bell in a local mall but there's no real guarantees there at the moment. But I'll just keep hoping that something will work itself out.

How am I? I've been better.
Currently I'm developing some sort of headache as I'm typing this and telling my boyfriend that he can get his musinex since he's got some form of cold/allergies something fierce I tell you. It's been bad enough that we've missed three days of classes this week. But this week is spring break so he has a little bit of time to relax and get better. The tests we missed will be caught up when we get back since the campuses are closed through out the week.

What have I been doing?
Obviously I've been drawing lately. I intend on keeping that up since I feel like I'm improving steadily with each drawing. My next few goals is to get to the point where it isn't just lines on digital canvas. To where it looks more three-dimensional. More three-dimensional, more shading and highlights, over all improvement would be great. I'd love it if I could be commissioned on here since I could always use the point or potential small dollars. Oh and watching Naruto. I spent the last three days watching it since I never really gave it much of a chance and now I'm in season two... over three days I watched 53 episodes x.x I'm turning into weeb trash Dx

Any plans?
I intend on attending Megacon on Saturday, April 11th. I should be anyway. I'm doing yardwork with my boyfriend and his brother and father to earn the purchase of mine and my boyfriend's tickets. I'm really excited to go again since this year I get to help my friend with her cosplay makeup! She's cosplaying as Cheetara from Thundercats! I'm just over the moon happy for this since this gives me a chance to work with beauty makeups since I don't wear makeup like at all but I still want to be in special effects and some day, in the distant future, if it is still on TV or even a chance, I'd want to make it to Syfy's TV show Face Off. But for now I'll just have to work on the things I don't really know a whole lot about.

Stay tuned for more Gaia artwork. I promise those people who I promised art from before you'll get your art, I just have times where I'm more inspired to work on other things or get discouraged. But I'll try my hardest!
